Would the dunlop aerogel 500 make a good substitution for the babolat aeropro drive?

i'm thinking about switching to the dunlop cause its a lighter racquet. would the dunlop be able to match the spin of the aeropro drive? and is there much of a power difference?|||The aerogel 500 dosn't have the spin potential like the Aero Pro Drive has.

The Aero Pro drive has a 16*19 string pattern (more spin) while the AG 500 has a 16*18.

If you have a fast swing, the AeroProDrive will be able to provide more power and depth. I like dunlops (especially the Dunlop 4d 200), However, the 500 really is not that great. It is not stable at all, especially volleying. Once, I tried that racquet and I was going for a shot that was hit very hard. The ball literally hit the sweetspot, however the racquet spun in my hand and the ball went into my face. That had never happened before to me. I was extremely upset and embarrassed and returned the racquet to the owner (one of my hitting partners at a club)

The Aero Pro drive is not heavy at all. It is 11.3 OZ...I know JV girls that use this racquet. So it really can't be that heavy. I cannot judge weight though, because I use a 13 oz racquet, which is pretty heavy, so obviously the Aero Pro Drive is light. However, seeing how well some of the JV girls play with it, I'm gonna have to say it is light. There are about 3 girls on the girls JV with that racquet. (one has a Aero Pro Drive Plus) They are pretty weak (they look like pencils). If you think it is....then you have to hit the gym...seriously.(no offense).

Remember that a lighter racquet will not give you more power. Actually a heavy racquet has the most power. Trust me, I use a K prostaff 88. It is one of the most stiff and powerful racquets on the market. I hit really hard shots with good depth and spin.

My coach once told me. "Use the heaviest racquet you can possibly handle, because it will make you better." Then he went on about something about taking the ball earlier. :P

Hope this helped|||http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage… - Is this the racquet that you're using? Because there were multiple options for the dunlo paerogel 500 and I wasn't sure which one you use. So with this website you could type in dunlop aerogel 500 into the search bar at the top left of the website and pick out your racquet from the bunch in case this one isn't it. This website has comment reviews from tons of experienced players who have played with them before, and on some of the racquets they have professional testers testing them out and their reviews on them.
