How to put a Dunlop Toggle capo on a classical guitar?

Today, I bought a dunlop toggle guitar capo at best buy.

Im trying to put it on my guitar which is a Roy Clark classical

How do i put it on or is my fret board just to big?|||Buy guitar supplies at a guitar store, not a big box store. Did you buy a capo specifically for a classical guitar with a flat, wide fretboard, or did you buy a capo designed for a steel string guitar?

Throw it in the garbage or return it and go to your local music store and get a Shubb S2 or C2. These are the best capos around.|||Most capos are made to fit steel-string acoustic guitars, not classical guitars, as most classically trained guitarists don't really use capos much.

Steel string guitars have narrower necks than classical guitars, and the fretboards are often slightly curved or "radiused", while classical guitar fretboards are flat.

If the capo you bought isn't specifically meant for a classical guitar, it might not fit your guitar.
