???? the best shiny/glossy guitar polish?, the dunlop 65(caranuba) or gibson polish or the fender polish????
i want to make make my electric guitar super shiny and glossy what can i use? i dont want to use pledge some people say its kinda too rough on a electric guitar finish. what have u use or recommend? i have seen the most popular are the Gibson polish, the dunlop 65 (caranuba wax ) and the fender which is shinier or glossier?|||Yes, I've used pledge a couple of times on my Jackson and seems to be less shiny, I would suggest using it only if your guitar gets handled with dirty hands frequently!, I plan to try a couple of different wipes myself, so the best advice i could give is test out each of them and see which one gives you the most desirable results!
What golf ball is better for a 10 year old golfer that hits 104 on 18 holes Nike Juice 312 or Dunlop LoCo?
Honestly at your stage of development....the ball will not matter at all. Go with the cheapest ball you can find.|||Go to the nearest golf course, sneak on with a ball retriever and fish the water holes, then look in the high grass adjacent to ponds and scour the woods. Any ball which you find is good for your game. I started at that age. Prior to earning money as a caddie, we sneaked out onto the local country club, and sold balls that we found.|||Any given golf ball will do.|||I dont know your swing speed, but i would go with the LoCo balls (Low Compression) balls.
They are designed for slower swing speeds (under about 100 MPH)|||i say and nike juice 312|||at that age with those scores whatever is cheapest.

What year did Dunlop stop making motorcycle tires in USA. and started getting them from Asia.?
Dunlops have been made in the UK, US and Japan at various times over the years. If you buy the sport bike and dirt bike tires they almost all come from asia. As mentioned the tires on HD are made in the US. My first Dunlop tires in the early 70's were made in the UK, but were made in Japan later. I've been told that the professional road racing tires are made in the US and Europe. So there is no real date when things changed.|||Dunno what you mean I just checked the Dunlop 401's on my H.D. and they say Made in the USA.This is a 2009 model and the rubber is factory fitted - but it could be old stock.|||.
Is Jim Dunlop Dimebag Crybaby From Hell Wah-wah pedal good?
im trying to get that pedal and before i buy it i wanna know more about it
does it make distortion sound and wah-wah sound?
or does it only have wah-wah sound?|||its a good choice,it dosen t have a distortion,it has a boost switch and a frequency selector so you can decide which frequencies your gonna affect.its a solid pedal and it looks cool.
and personally id never want my distortion pedal to be be in my wah pedal, dont forget to put the wah first in you chain of effects..

Wilson K Six One 95 or Dunlop 4D Aerogel 200?
im currently using the wilson k six one tour. us version. im planning to switch because the weight is too much for me. im relatively a hard hitter. which leads to many unforced errors count. which means i have low consistency. i want that control on the court and power for pace. and also improve my consistency as well.|||I have the Aerogel 200 and its amazing. Im 6'3 200 lbs relatively muscular, and the weight is definetely appropriate to style of game play and size. I play offensive baseline style, and I am a switch serve/groundstroke hitter. Im a hard hitter as well, but im not afraid to hit spin serves, kick serves, slices, or drop shots.
The Aerogel really allows to hit through the ball. I switched from a wilson K six one as well and found that my unforced errors went down, and my spins seemed more crisp and accurate.
Wilson is a popular name and they make good products, but for me, the Aerogel 200 was the way to go.|||definitely... babolat aeropro gt...|||Try Wilson K factor six one Team. This is same racquet with little lighter weight.

Ive got some Dunlop 'city slickers' on my bicycle but I heard the company stopped making bicycle tires in 1960
Just wondering how can this be as I cannot find them on the internet, or does another company make them and use the name Dunlop?|||So you have a pair of 48 year old tires on your bike? Don't ride 'em! Tioga makes the "city slicker". Many other maufacturers make similar tires as well.|||It is magic.

Any opinions or reviews of dunlop qualifiers?
I just got qualifier on my bike to replace a set of pilot powers which were used up. So far they seem to be a good tire. I have only ridden on them a few times with one good twisty ride. The break in was easy and uneventful which is good. I still have about 1/8 inch of chicken stripe left on each side which I may never get rid of since I have never used every inch of any tire I have ever had. The point being that they are good sticky tires. I can not say which tire has better traction, to me it seems like a toss up. As for how long they last - I have no idea since I just got them.|||I've installed alot of them and everyone has been very pleased.|||I have to go the other way, I don't care for them. They are hard (don't have allot of grip) yet wear out fairly quickly, don't handle a heavy load very well, and is really just a so-so tire in my opinion. Other tires that dunlop makes are good in my opinion just not the qualifers. I am running S-11 spitfires right now and really like them. I'm not a knee dragger but I do like to take corners hotter then most.
Which tire is Better, Bridgestone or Dunlop?
I have to get new tires, so I was wondering is Bridgestone or Dunlop better. We are talking Yamaha Stratoliner|||I remember reading somewhere that the Metzeler ME880 sets the standard for heavy cruiser tires. I have no experience with them, but that's what I heard. Also, a riding friend put them on his Vulcan Nomad and he likes them a lot.|||Bridgestones are generally less expensive, and wear longer, because they have a harder rubber compound. I've used them almost exclusively throughout the life of my '85 V45 Magna. (although I experimented with other brands over the years) The downside; lower traction in less than ideal conditions. Great "fair weather" tires, but not very good in the rain.
Dunlops are a little more expensive, with a somewhat softer compound, therefore better traction in less than ideal conditions, but they wear faster.
As someone else mentioned Metzler's are like glue in all conditions, but wear faster, due to the soft compound, and are hard on the wallet. (A - because they're pricey and B - because you have to change them out more frequently...particularly the back tire...the more expensive of the two)
I'm not sure what the Stratoliner comes with as stock tires, but if you're happy with them, stay with them.|||I am actually switching to Michelin Commanders as I have had good experiences with the Pilot Road on my Honda sports/tourers.Bridgestone nearly killed me on a wet road a few years ago - since then I won`t touch them.Out of the two I would say Dunlop as they are EOM on H.D. and handle well.Choose wisely %26amp; good luck.|||Its really up to you! I like Bridgestone better. But its all about price to me. Tires never seem to last as long as they are rated to, because of nails, glass, high schoolers with knives, etc. So I generally get coopers. So... I get cheaper tires, but get them more often:)|||you'll probably want wide white wall tires, no? dunlops white walls are better quality and dont mark up so bad, so theyd be well worth it|||what you have now i prefer to use what came with stock
my bike came with dunlop been running them 12 years far as i can tell they work
i would stick with brand you have on bike now|||Since I like my life pretty much I would not put Bridgestones on my bike.

Does the Dunlop Crybaby wah GCB-95 work on bass too?
I'm going to buy a wah tonight/tomorrow for my guitar, but I play bass too. So my question is if it works on a bass-guitar too, because I play a lot of funk and RHCP-songs and they use a lot of wah.
Thx|||A guitar wah is not designed for the bass frequencies, so it is not the best solution (same reason why a bass wah is not the best match for guitar use). You won't brake anything by trying though.
Not sure if this unit is spring loaded. The older Crybaby units were not as far as I can recall. Why not check with Dunlop?

Which is better, dunlop system 65 guitar care kite or ernie ball wonder wipes?
im looking for a good and reliable product to clean, polish my guitar, and a product that really cleans the stings well and makes em last longer!|||Using any kid of cleaner wont make your sting last longer since the cleaner itself will still corrode the strings. You are better off just wiping down the strings with a dry terry cloth. Also use Elixer strings, you will only need to replace your strings two, three time a year.
As for cleaning the guitar body itself, there is nothing out there better or worse really... they are all the same.|||I really liked the Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes, I used them on my acoustic and my electric, and they worked great!

What is the most versatile Wah pedal that Dunlop makes? I want it to play a wide range of music.?
I have the 535Q, and of all of the products that Dunlop offers, it seems to have the most options overall in terms of modifying Q, volume when wah is on, solo boost, etc.
Specialized products like the Dimebag from Hell wah are exactly that - more specialized. That particular model will do well in many rock and metal contexts, but I can't see using it in a blues setting or for worship music or pop, etc. In other words, its good, its versatile within a few genres, but becomes limited outside of that.
The 535Q is a little more generic, sure, but I feel that it can be used for most anything - it can work almost like a straight volume pedal on one end to essentially a bass wah to a wah that rides Tom Morello highs to whatever. I used it specifically for soloing and as a filter in the last band I was in - that adjustable range really let me dial in the exact frequencies I wanted the wah to cover, so when my rig changed (ie, pickups got swapped out, power amp tubes were upgraded, a multifx processor was used) and the tone and treble especially got futzed around with, I could bump the range up and down to get that exact warm tone I was looking for.
Oh, look at me ramble. Anyhoo, based on my experience, that's the wah to go. They're all good wahs, I just think this one is frickin' sweet for the guitarist who has to "do it all".

The Super Venom was it. I don't expect a super long life ,but the traction is killer.P.S. I run Metzlers under most conditions but use the Avon when I really want to "Stick"|||The Michelin Pilot Powers seem to be the darling child of sport riders currently. But Avon has their Vipers, Bridgestone has their Battleax 014/015s, Metzeler has their Sportec, and Pirelli has their Diablo line.
You're going to find a fan of each brand if you ask around enough. there are some subtle differences, but you're not going to notice them unless you're using the tires up on the racetrack. For the street, all of the top-end "sport" tires are overkill. Todays "Sport Touring" tires offer more grip than the "sport" tires of a few years ago, and twice, thrice or more lifespan at lower purchase prices.|||My sport bike friends are all running Metzlers! Good enough to drag your knee coming into turn 1 at 130mph; good enough for me.|||I prefer Michelin Pilots.
Why don't you like dunlops? Will any 9v DC adapter work with the Dunlop Crybaby wah wah pedal?
I've had two 9V adapters, one Dancelectro (Cheap brand) and one that came with my pedalboard (Not so cheap brand), and they both worked fine. So I'm willing to bet it will. :]|||I always buy the correct adapter, then there is no risk, and you know that you get some noise reduction,
The cheapie adapters, are made for power tools, and battery chargers.
They tend to add more noise to the pedal, than the correct adapter.
You also have to make sure that an AC pedal gets an AC adapter,
And a DC pedal gets a DC adapter.
if you get the wrong one, you will burn up the pedal.
You have to make sure that the pedal puts out enough power for the pedal, or it won't sound right.
You have to make sure that the positive and negative signals go to the right "pin", or you will probably damage the pedal.
A lot of time, you get lucky and everything works fine, but to me, it's not worth the risk.
Plus, like I said, the correct adapter is usually quieter.

the sad thing, is if the poster doesn't take my advice because of the trolls thumbs down, he may burn his pedals up?
the trolls would have a little credibilty, if they had a real answer to offer, once in while.

Can someone explain the difference with each dunlop aerogel series?
im trying to choose a new racket
i am the net player in doubles so one of these aerogel racket would be good for my volleys
but there are so many (the 300, 500, 800, etc.) so i would like to know the differences between them so i can make a better informed decision on what im buying|||The simple answer: The lower numbers have more control, the higher numbers will help you create more power.
Basically, if you look through the list, the lower numbers tend to have smaller head sizes, are heavier, and are head-light. The 200 and 300 are both pretty advanced frames. When you get higher, like the 900 and 1000, they have large head sizes, are very lightweight, and head-heavy. These types of frames are good for beginners who haven't yet developed a full swing, and thus can't create enough power on their own.
Now, if you're looking for something that will be good at the net for doubles, head-heavy frames are a bad idea. Because of their balance, they are very difficult to maneuver at the net, which will in effect slow your reaction times.
The 800, 900, and 1000, which you said appeal to you most, would not be good for net play at all. I would urge you to go for the 300 or 500. If you are set on having a lighter frame, the 500 is a good option. It's slightly head-light, which will give it much better performance at the net than the 800, 900, or 1000.
The 300 is slightly heavier yet, but will give you a lot of control, while still being a fairly forgiving stick. If you look to really improve your game, you might want to make the investment on the 300 for the future. This racquet will last you longer as you improve than the 500 would, which means you wouldn't have to go through finding another racquet as soon.|||the higher the number (200 compared to 500) means that the head size is bigger and frame is wider. (subsequently less power, more control)
i assume youre an older player. if so, i guess youre playing a lot of doubles, you should go with a higher number in the series.

For english i am studying Ernest Edward 'Weary' Dunlop, and i've looked everywhere but i can't find when he actually returned home to Australia? Or when the other POW at the Burma railway did aswell. Could anyone help?|||hello
Lieutenant Colonel Sir Ernest Edward "Weary" Dunlop AC, CMG, OBE, KStJ (July 12, 1907 鈥?July 2, 1993) was an Australian surgeon who was renowned for his leadership whilst being held prisoner by the Japanese during World War II.
Returning to Australia in October 1945 he was demobilised on 1 February 1946, transferring to the Reserve List of Officers with the rank of Honorary Colonel. Before demobilisation he had been working (since 10 December 1945) with Brigadier Blackburn at Army Headquarters as Assistant Director of Medical Services to Blackforce. What tire is better for sand/soft dirt, the new dunlop MX31 or Dunlop D952?
i ride on long island, ny and the track i go to is all sand/soft dirt and when it rains its deep mud. what tire should i go with? the new Dunlop MX31 or Dunlop D952. remember its just sand and soft dirt, nothing underneath but that. help please|||mx31, simply because it has more surface area on the tire instead of the knobies. This allows the rear tire to sink into the sand and soft soil more, therefore it grips the dirt better than a tire with more knobies.

If all your riding is in loose sand, it is a better tire. But if you ride on a little more than loose sand, the D 952 is better. The D 952 is good for most terrains and it is a long lasting tire. The MX 31 is only good on one terrain and is not a long lasting tire.|||The Dunlop Geomax MX31 is the replacement to their older 773 design. So this is definitely the one you would want in sand %26amp; mud. The D952 is more for a mix of terrain like sand, rocks, hard pack etc...

I've seen that recommended accessories also include the Dunlop ECB-04 Barrel 18V Adapter but i was wondering if this is indeed the right adapter so i don't need to keep feeding my wah 9V batteries...|||Yeah, the 18V adapter is the correct one, but it's gonna cost more from Dunlop than some other, aftermarket accessories. Either way, I'd still shell out for all Dunlop though, they make reliable, quality products that will survive with the roaches after the proverbial nuclear holocaust. the cheaper ones don't put noise fitlers in them, so they will cause more noise from your pedal

Racket Help: Babolat Aero Pro Team GT or Dunlop Aerogel 4D 500 Lite?
This is for a high performance junior, 10 yrs old.
Dunlop is like $90 less than Babolat. Is it worth to pay that much for Babolat?|||Both are good. The AeroGel 4D is a two year old model. Discontinued in favor of the Dunlop Biomimetic line. There area ton of nice racquets with 4-even grips of high performance juniors.
Also don't rule out a top quality 26" racquet like the Babolat Roddick Junior 26. This is not a toy and it is tuned for the high performance junior. In contrast to the AeroPro Drive 26 which is for a lower level junior. Also there is a BLX 6.1 Tour Junior.

What are the best dunlop racquets?
Im looking into a new racquet because im tired of my prince o3 hybrid juice and i was wandering about the quality of dunlop racquet's.|||I used to use Dunlop before I switched to Babolat. I used the 500 Tour Aerogel and I think it was really good! You can create a lot of power with it and it's not too light and not too heavy. Basically it helps a lot on your serve--you can create more power with it. And it's great on the ground-strokes too! It gives you a whole lot more touch than any other racket out there!

Dunlop Crybaby wah pedal mod. question?
I want to try and put a spring in under the toe end of the pedal, so that it will push back to low ends if my foot is off. Any suggestions on how I should go about doing this?|||I strongly suggest that you don't do it at all.
My reason is this: in order to turn a CryBaby off, you lean forward on it and it goes into bypass. If you attempt to put a spring in it, this will become much harder to do. The chances are that you will spend most of your time sounding like you are playing with a blanket over your amp.
As it is right now, the CryBaby is an almost perfect pedal - it will stay where you leave it, and if you turn it off it stays off. You want to modify it so that it will spend most of its time stuck in an extreme position. You could get the same tone by just rolling back the tone control on your guitar. I suggest you do that instead.

Seriously, people aren't going to be paying attention to what bag you use versus what frame you have. If I somehow noticed that about my opponent, I'd probably just assume that he previously used a Babolat and recently changed to the Dunlop. If you've already got a good bag, there's no reason to change it when you switch frames just cause you got a different brand. It's not like you're being sponsored by Dunlop, so it doesn't matter.

I have an Epiphone les Paul Zakk Wylde into a Roland Cube 30 any help would be great thanks.|||The reviews I've read about the Vox 847a seem to indicate that it's a very trebly wah - so bear in mind that if you go that direction you will probably need to play around with your amp's EQ to keep your low end.
Hmmm. I kept reading the review and found out that the sweep is adjustable. That explains a lot, there.
I like the 535Q Dunlop because it's so configurable - admittedly I haven't played the Vox specifically, only heard it, but it sounded really really good.... So I probably wouldn't get the normal Crybaby if I was to ever get another wah (which I just might, now that I think about it), I would probably check out this Vox.... although honestly I'm leaning towards something like the Bad Horsie, where you just push down on it and it engages, so you don't have to do the whole "click on/click off" thing.

Is dunlop the best tire for my softail ?
got factory tires on my HD still in fair condition have over 10,000 miles on them , whats the best tire out there ?|||DUNLOP!!! I have spoke with Dunlop and other tire manufacturers. The "compound" of the front and rear are different for a reason and Harley puts them on ALL their new bikes for a reason. The Dunlop is a softer tire and yes I do go through the rear tire more often due to the motor performance upgrades I have added and I do roll on the throttle pretty heavy is the reason I go through those rear tires so fast. As for cornering on the mountain roads here in Colorado, those Dunlops stick, big time.
Good Luck|||we just replaced the factory back tire on our '04 ultra with 14,600 miles on it with another dunlop just like it. it still had a little bit of tread left but not much. we figure if HD thinks dunlops are good enough to put on them at the factory, we'll just stick with them. dunlop recently settled a strike, and supplies might be backordered, but we had no trouble getting a tire. good luck, and ride safe.|||The best tire for your HD:
AVON.
Not cheap but they are the best you can buy.|||youll get more milage out of the elite, than the one that came stock on it....|||Avon|||Be careful there are only a few tires out there rated for heavy bikes.|||dunlops are a happy medium. avons are much stickier but a lot less mileage probably around 6000 to 8000 mi. metzlers on the other hand usually get about 12-15000 mi. but they are much harder so they don't handle corners quite as well. if you change the rear to a different brand it is a good idea to match the brands so then you would also be buying a new front tire. Or you can put another dunlop on the rear and when it wears out aprox. 20k you can put a pair of metzlers on. no need to replace a perfectly good front tire.|||Once you go with Metzler ME 880 you will feel 10 times more secure in rain and cornering. Metzller is a softer tire better in these circumstances. You will not get as good mileage with a soft tire (7500--10k back 10-15 front)|||I have used both Dunlops and Metzlers and for my money the Metzlers are far better I will ride on the Metzlers because nothing grips the road like they do.

Anybody else having poor luck with Dunlop 404 on a Harley dresser?
The last one I replaced I only got 4700 miles!|||I prefer Dunlop over any other brand and I've tried them all. I have a Kaw 6 cylinder Voyager dresser and it weighs more than even a HD bagger. I cannot use a 404 on the rear (same MU90-16 many HD use) because it's close to being overloaded as soon as I crawl on. (I've weighed the bike, 400 lb front, 560 lb rear.) A 140/90-16 404 is rated 761 lbs, so I couldn't haul an adult passenger without being overloaded. I suspect that when you pile on your bike, I bet the 404 on the rear is close to being overloaded and if you haul a pasenger, it is. The 404 load rating is comparable to most other bike tires of that size, but it's intended for cruisers and not for heavy dressers. By comparison, the Dunlop Eilte3 of the same size is rated 930 lbs. I have over 23,000 miles on my rear Elite 3 and that's high speed, loaded highway miles.
I have a 404 on the front of my bike and now have 12,000 miles and there's maybe a couple more thousand left on it. When I got the bike, it had a worn out Eilte on the front and I still put another 6,000 on it before I replaced it. I suggest you either go with the HD OEM Dunlops (410, 420???), although I know they have stiffer sidewalls than the Elite 3. (I have one on my other bike.) The Elite 2 would probably be ok but they cost more and return fewer miles than the 3.|||There has been almost nothing good or bad about any tires in the motorcycle forum here the last 9 months or so, One would think a dunlop would do twice that with hard use though. I have been using dunlop since 84? I think, and I even had one go flat (front) in the middle of now where. Sidewall on the tire was super stiff so I rode it 50 miles to safety I could hardly lift my arms when I got home, my buddies all tried to move the front end flat on the garage floor and none of them could twist the bars, and the tire was hot enough to cook an egg on.|||I am assuming you are talking about the rear tire???
5000-7500 miles is average for a bagger. Your bike weighs around 800lbs. Mileage has ALOT to do with keeping proper tire pressures maintained, your riding style and type of roads it is ridden on.
Dunlops are "iffy", some people have very good luck with them, some don't. My personal preference is Metzler ME880's. They offer good wet and dry handling and good mileage. Most of my customers average 8-10k miles on their Metzlers.
Be SURE to KEEP the pressures at 36 front / 40 rear for average loads, if carryiong alot of weight, run 38/42.|||That is pretty good mileage for a bagger that is close to what I get.5000 miles is pretty good for the torque these bike have and they work good in wet and handle well. I have Michelin commander on my 07 road Glide and they work good not as good as the 404's in the wet but still not bad.|||I stopped using dunlops four years ago, found Kenda tires instead,With these I can get around 12,000 miles and they are easier on the wallet.

How good is a Dunlop Reaction Driver?
I was at Sportchek today and saw a dunlop reaction driver for 25 dollars
i am a newer golfer and usually hit the ball 160 with my driver and straight with a minor slice
will this club improve my distance and accuracy?
thanks|||Dunlop is basically junk to be honest. You are much better off buying an older model of a name brand club with a higher loft on it (10.5 degrees of loft to 12 degrees of loft), something such as Cobra, Ping, Callaway, Cleveland, Titleist, Nike, Adams, Taylor Made, Nickent, etc.
Remember, distance is created by solid contact and a faster clubhead speed. If you are hitting your current driver 160 on avg, chances are, it may be more beneficial to work on your technique to increase distance.
With the driver, the ball is positioned even with the inside of your left foot (for a Right Handed golfer), and the goal is to tee it high and sweep the ball off of the tee. The best swing thoughts i can give you (only think of 1 at a time) is to get the big %26amp; small muscles of the upper body to work together, make a full shoulder turn (getting your left shoulder under your chin), and do the toe up drill - set up to the ball then take the club back until it is waist high. At this point, you want the toe of the clubhead to be pointing to the sky. Make this very short swing, going waist high to waist high, and after impact, when the club gets back to waist high again, your clubhead should again be pointing toward the sky - hence the toe up to toe up name.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please visit my website and ask a question - www.freewebs.com/egolf|||Accuracy and distance have more to do with your golf swing rather than a piece of equipment......If you want to buy the driver....the Price is sure cheap enough....Just don't expect the slice to go away and your drives to be 50 yds longer until you fix your swing.|||was it used, if so get it

Which capos are better for an acoustic guitar? Kyser or dunlop?
I'm having a hard time trying to find out which is best or if there is anything that is better. Thanks in advance.|||I use a Kyser, but honestly, they're both very very good brands. Just get the one you like.|||I use a Kyser and it's built for nuclear war. It cost a few bucks more, but a few bucks stretched over the the 20 years it lasts won't be noticed.|||I prefer Shubb capos to either of your choices. It's smaller and doesn't get in the way. They have a new, lighter model that looks interesting. Also, their partial capo is fantastic.
I've also heard good things about the G7 capo but I haven't tried it yet.|||Both of those are non-adjustable - the Shubb is better b/c you can adjust the pressure so it leaves the guitar in tune better.|||I have a Dunlap that I use on my acoustic guitar as well as my Gibson hollow body and it works great, I've had it for several years.|||All the capos from any known brand are great capos, this is NOT something you should spent a lot of money on, because they won't brake if you treat them like you'd treat everything else.
- Don't throw it around.|||I cannot advise you on any of the brand-name capos because I never use them. I feel they, along with an addiction for tablature, would inhibit my fretboard expertise.
From what I've read, Kyser, Dunlop, and Schubb are excellent capos for those wishing to use them.|||I've had a dunlop for the past 15 years, It's been trouble free, and doesn't affect the tuning, if I ever loose or break it I will definitely get another. Make sure you get one to match the curve of your fret board. Most Steel string guitars have a curved fret board, but nylon string and some Steel string brands have a flat one. Dunlop makes capos for both types of guitar.

A rule of thumb is the more expensive the better but thats not always the case especially if YOU dont like it better than a less costly one. Go with the one you like and you cant go wrong. You become a better player that way.|||I've used Kyser capos exclusively for years, since they're incredibly durable and trouble-free. And they're really easy to clip into place and can be clipped to the guitar's headstock when they're not needed.
Recently, I found an eBay seller that sells capos exactly like the Kyser ones for a fraction of the price (plus shipping is free). I know price isn't your main concern, but it never hurts to save a few dollars, especially if you're not sure you'll fall in love with the capo (I think you'll love it, though). Do you move back and forth with tempo? And also, if the axis is too tight, do I have to get used to it, or can maybe loosen it?
|||When I use a wah, I usually rock it with the tempo, yes. Just like you're tapping your foot to the beat. And as you do that, you just do a fast strum, just a straight strum, like sixteenth beat or eighth. And it works if you do it while you alternate between holding a chord and holding that chord silenced. You know the way you hold the A form up the neck somewhere like you do when you're sort of doing a blues improv. Try this, hold the first four strings down on the fifth fret with your pointer finger. Now strum it straight and fast, while you rock your foot to a beat. Now alternate between holding the strings down on the fretboard, and letting up a little bit like you're silenceing them, and see what you get. A nice A minor blues chord with a chunky wah.

I started with a Dunlop beginner set. What is a good intermediate ste or brand?
The Dunlop woods are already falling apart. The irons are fine but heavy. Should I buy individuals clubs (I already got a Wilson Zip 5 wood) or a full set?|||Buy a full set for sure. Its cheaper and you'll play more consistent and confident. I would go to a golf shop and hit some clubs. What matters most is what you like and what you hit best. I could list 1000 clubs but it wont matter until you see if you can hit them and if you like them.......and if the price is right. Good luck.|||Buy a full set with the same shafts. I'm also 6'1" and play a custom made set that are an inch over standard. Nothing beats a custom built set of clubs (irons). I prefer Graphite 3.2 low torque with a high kickpoint, as I naturally hit a high ball.
A 45" Driver would be best, stepping down an inch for each wood (44" 3 Wood, 43" 5 Wood, etc). You can mix and match woods %26amp; hybrid irons, but keep your scoring clubs the same (3 iron thru pitching wedge).

Blake and Berdych switch from Dunlop racquets?
Why did both Tomas Berdych and James Blake switch from Dunlop tennis racquets? They were the two biggest players to endorse dunlop racquets.|||Perhaps it was time for a change. At least Tommy Haas is still using dunlop. He's been using dunlop raquets for years now.|||i havent noticed either but i know that blake had always used a prince all that happened was that he painted over the prince to look like a dunlop because dunlop probably pays more for sponsorship i no that the bryan bros did this to with wilson and i no this because i was a member at the same club as them and i got to hit with them which was really cool|||i havent noticed .

What is the difference between a regular dunlop crybaby wah wah pedal and the dunlop jimi hendrix pedal?
i was looking at the wah wah pedals online and i want to get one but the jimi hendrix pedal is like way more than the original so i was wandering what the difference was and if its worth the extra money?|||I've got both at the studio. Here is the scoop. The dunlop is better for the wah wah expression because , if you depress the pedal and hold it there, the guitar sustains and screams which is a good effect. The sound has more range than the Hendrix.
The hendrix pedal is good if you are into Hendrix stuff . The wah this pedal produces is pretty well close 99% to what Hendrix sounded like as far as quality, tone etc... The Hendris wah is mostly based on its construction replicating the Hendrix pedal.
I prefer the regular but that's just me. I like a good response on the high end .|||just get a line 6 head and a marshal cabinet and make sure you get that board for the presets on a line six and your done|||Ive never actually payed the jimi hendrix wah pedal, but The main difference is either:
1)Vintage wiring specs or
2)its a recreation of a pedal which jimi modded
I think its number one because this pedal difinately sounds very vintage and very unique. I only think number two because many profesional musicians modify their pedals to what they like.(but i dont know if jimi did that)
Hope I helped!

Dunlop Nickel Plated Steel Heavy Core Heaviest Electric Guitar Strings?
How good are they? Is the sound good for both clean and distorted settings? Personal experience? Any other facts?
Also, does anyone have experience with Dava Control Picks?|||Depends, for rythm guitarists they're great and deep, however most lead guitarist in distortion use very light nickel plating, because they have a cleaner sounds, and they bend easily, making them soft and nice on your fingers. I personally recommend light nickel

Does a Dunlop CryBaby work on a Line 6 amp?
do dunlop crybabys work on line 6 speider 2's?
what pedals apart from line 6 are compatible with that amp?|||You can use any pedal you want in front of a Line 6 amp. I've got a Vetta, and use a couple of different distortion and compression boxes between my guitar and the amp input with no issues.
Even though the Line 6 amps have wah modeling built into them, a lot of guitarists I know still put a conventional wah ahead of them.
And just for reference, the wah is one effect that should not go in the effects loop of an amp. They work much better ahead of the first preamp stage.
Greetings from Austin, TX
Ken|||Line six spiders I don't believe have an effects loop, which would be the ideal way to connect it. But you can still plug any line level signal pedal into the front end like any other amp and it will work.|||i was under the impression that if you have amp inputs and pedal out puts are standard. anything should work.|||It should work with any amp.

Are there any tennis pros in the top 100 that are sponsored by dunlop?
also tell me if getting sponsored by dunlop is a good thing because i just got offered and i'm not sure if i want the sponsorship or not.|||There are some like James Blake, Thomas Berdych, Tommy Haas, Tommy Robredo, %26amp; John McEnroe. No where near as many as Wilson, Prince, Yonex, or Babolat have. I had Dunlop frames and didn't like them so as to whether you should commit to their sponsorship or not you need to ask yourself the question do I enjoy playing with this racquet? If not then is there another in the Dunlop lineup that I would like to play with? Try a few. If you don't like any don't accept the offer. If they offered you a sponsorship you must be using their frames now and playing well with them so if that's the case it should be a no brainer.|||Yes there are probably a lot of people sponsored by Dunlop. Any professional in the top 100 using a Dunlop racquet is most likely sponsored by them. I would take the sponsorship, you must be a good player to get offered. I know in Southern California you have to be a top player to be sponsored.|||Yes, some that i do remember was Amelie Mauresmo, James Blake and Tommy Robredo. Theses are some top players I know, so as far as the whole sponsorship is going, I say go for it and take every opportunity that comes your way because who knows this might not come again in the future. Dunlop is a graet brand and it continues to get better with all of it's raquet technology like the aerogel.|||yes there are quite a few but only men wich i thought was weird the players are, thomas berdych, james blake, tommy haas and tommy robredo|||off the top of my head Tommy Haas, Tommy Robredo, Thomas Berdych, and James Blake are all sponsored by Dunlop.
Amelie Mauresmo was at one point in her career before she switched to Head. John McEnroe was as well as Steffi Graf. Marat Safin was at one point too.
There is nothing wrong with Dunlop rackets. they are very good and extremely underrated.
Dunlop doesnt get the same name recognition as Head, Wilson, Prince...or even Yonex...but there is nothing wrong with them. What i would advise is find a racket that suits your needs and go with that brand.

Can a Dunlop Wah Pedal that is made for guitar work on bass, or could it break it?
I can get a normal guitar one for cheap on ebay; they are always there. i really don't want to pay $120 for the special bass one, but I'd hate to buy one only to have the lows blow out the potentiometer (aka pot) or something. could this happen?|||Some you can, some you can't. Just look it up on musicians friend or the Dunlop sight. It should say whether you can use it for bass or not. I found out the hard way and fried my Dunlop by playing a bass through it.

I'm already rockin a head lquidmetal radical so that's out of the question. I'm looking for a nice mix of control and power, im looking for a bit more control though.|||For better than the LM Radical there are not so many cheap NEW racquets available.
There is a web site - www.justtennis.net that has a good selection of lower priced racquets. I got a new Wilson K6.1 95 from them for $129. The also have the Hewitt / Nalbandian Yonex RDiS 100 and the Ivanovic RQiS 1 XL Tour.|||If you need more control than radical, try the prestige.
Wilson Six one has great control also. My choice is Wilson K Pro but you need to add some lead to make it more stable.
4D 300 won't have the control you are looking for. Perhaps 200 or 100 will do. I've only used 500 and 300 and didn't like them - lack of control.

Which Dunlop Cry Baby Wah pedal should I Get?
I started looking into a wah wah pedal, and realized that there are a whole bunch of them. I just want a simple wah pedal that will last me a long time. I have seen ones that are Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett, Slash, and so on. Do those sound much different than the original wah? An answer is greatly appreciated.|||It depends, if you're just playing covers then get a custom one - however, if you're in an original band get an original Crybaby. The reason for this is you don't want Slash's or Kirk Hammett's tone for your original band, you'd want your own tone.
However out of the three you listed, I can tell you right now that the Jimi Hendrix one isn't very good. The Slash one is probably the best.|||Get the Slash Wah, best tone you can get out of a wah. Slash likes it so much it's the only pedal he actually controls himself the rest are controlled on a pedalboard by his tech.

What gauge does Kirk Hammett use with his Jim Dunlop Jazz III guitar picks?
What gauge does he usually use.|||Maybe someone in the Jazz category would know. Or maybe the rock category... certainly not the classical.|||Does it matter?

Why would the tires toyo, yokohama, dunlop lemans or nitto be more superior to kumho tires?
What kinds of qualities makes those tires better than kumho, based on something I heard from someone else?|||it just depends on the application.. each of these companies has a tire that competes in a certain area.. Max performance summer, ultra high performance summer, high performance summer.. ect.. and then mostly it comes down to personal preference.. i personally run cooper zeon 2xs tires on all 4 of my cars|||It depends on which models of each of those brands. Some companies are larger and have a bigger budget for research and development for the tire technology, and because of that one tire can be better than another. Kumho doesn't invest as much into some of their tires as other companies and the prices reflect that, as does the quality. They have some really good tires and they have some really poor tires.

Am I the only person that hates the dunlop Crybaby Wah Pedal?
I bought one quite a while ago, and I was overjoyed as I had never had a wah pedal before. but then, just after the time limit that I could return it, I started to see a bunch of faults. The frequency transition from high to low was really abrupt, it jumped at odd intervals from tone to tone.
Long story short: has anyone else had these issues?
can someone help me by recommending a pedal with a really smooth transition from high to low frequencies?|||Never had that issue on the two that I owned, but I hate the tone of those things! Morley and Snarling Dawgs make much better pedals, but all pale when compared to a VOX. Pay the extra cash, it's well worth the tone(!) and reliability,

How do you pick a side when you spin a Dunlop racquet?
Normally before a match, tennis player spin the racquet to see who serve first. I have a Dunlop racquet and i don't know how to pick a side... Like when u spin a Wilson racquet, you choose M or W, or when you spin a Prince racquet, you choose P or D...|||Sk8te, let the other guy spin or else whip out a Wilson or a Prince racquet for the spin, or just say D or backwards D.Or if you really wanna get gnarly just replace the butt cap with one off a Wilson or Prince racquet. Prince grips are more rounded and Wilson more square and I think Dunlops are a little more rectangular so that might be challenging to pull off.|||^^^ isn't it usually the home player who spins... so if he's home, he's supposed to spin.

I just got a new car with Dunlop tires. I haven't done any serious driving yet and am wonering how they compare to Michelin and Pirelli tires.|||I don't think the dunlop's are as good as the other 2.|||We would kinda need some more information about the Dunlop's. I went from Goodyear, Goodwrich, Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli, and Yokohama down to Pirelli and Yokohama.
My only suggestion for you if you would like to get to know your tires per say is to get their full description off of the side wall and look them up on www.tirerack.com. You can use them to get feedback from other people that have the same tire that you do.
That would be the best recomendation for you

Are the Wilson Womens Hope clubs good quality and worth buying? How do Dunlop or Acuity clubs rate?
Been using mens clubs and want to try womens instead.|||My first set of golf clubs were the Wilson Womens Hope clubs and I loved them. They did everything for me that I needed and served me well. The set includes the variety of clubs that you need to play a good game of golf and improve your score while increasing your skill level. The new set includes a hybrid as well. The bonus is that the purchase helps support the fight against breast cancer. The pink clubs are a constant reminder.
The Acuity Clubs are also good and come highly recommended. I know ladies in the league who play with them and like them very much. They like the forgiveness of them and the accuracy they maintain in their shots.
I have reviewed both of these sets in an article review on my website which is a website for women golfers..

Is something wrong with Dunlop Vision golf clubs?
My co-worker and I bought the same model - Dunlop vision at the same store in May. He broke his 5 wood after two weeks and I broke my 3 wood yesterday. They both broke at the same location - the joint of the club head and the graphite shaft. It's entry level set but shouldn't it last a bit longer? Did we have a defective products or just bad luck? What can be done?|||Dunlop used to be a player on Tour (though not as big as comperable companies at the time as Ben Hogan, Lynx, Titleist or MacGregor). They suffered the same kind of fates as all those above mentioned (except Titleist)- popularity waned, then they ended up either becoming component brands (Lynx), or bought by another company (Callaway bought Hogan, GolfSmith bought Macgregor).
Dunlop kind of just faded- still making golf stuff, just not on a great scale. My second setclubs was a Dunlop Pro Comp line I won as a safety award at my job years ago... they served a good purpose, and never broke on me. So they either REALLY went south on quality (a good bet, since aluminum or the "titanium matrix" clubheads are cheaper to make than actual titanium), or you both had bad luck.
I would definitely either get a refund or an exchange. As long as it broke during normal play, you have your receipt, and it's within the allotted time for returns, you should be OK.|||Thank you very much for the warning.I just traded my recumbent

I have a 2006 Harley Ultra Classic. I need a rear tire and I currently have a D402 MU85B-16. Is the Shinko SR777 150/80-16 an exact replacement and is the Shinko tire a good tire ?|||A MU-85 equates to a metric 140-85. Most touring 140s have an aspect ratio of 90 rather than 85. So, the Shinko is 10mm wider and 1mm taller than the Dunlop. So far, so good. However, check the load rating on the Shinko because the MUs have a higher load rating than the ordinary run of the mill metric tire. The MU is probably rated something like 910-920 lbs. Most 140s will be somewhere around 800 lbs. If you ride single, you might be ok but if you ever haul pillion with lots of gear, I personally wouldn't chance it.|||I ride a Harley Road king and I use the Dunlap's. The reason is the tread, and construction. I know the Dunlop's can take the kind of stress, I put on my tires. They also have good grip in the rain, on grass, dirt, gravel, even snow. The Dunlops maybe the best, all around tire made.
The Shinko looks like a good dry pavement, light rain tire. But not so good on loose surfaces. I like the tread better than some, but not as much as the Dunlop.|||This is not really a good answer, or, at least not a complete answer. I have several friends who ride Ultra Classics and between them have put hundreds of thousands of miles on their bikes. They all use the Harley Dunlops. Believe me, they have tried a bunch of different brands and keep coming back to the Dunlops. I don't ride an Ultra but I do use the Harley Dunlops because they make the most sense to me. I get more trouble-free miles per dollar with the Dunlops.|||According to their website:
In 1998 the Shinko Group purchased the motorcycle tire technology and molds from Yokohama Rubber Co., and began production of these products under the Shinko Tire brand.
Shinko is a Jap company, the tires are manufactured in Korea.
I don't think I'd have a problem running them if I wasn't sold on Avons for my heavy Honda.|||Not looking on a particular site for the correct size, I can only offer you my best expirence. I replaced the stock OEM Dunlop tires on my VT1100C Honda Shadow with a set of Continental Milestones, partly due to the manufacturer saying they were for 'heavy cruisers' and the recomendation of a buddy who has been riding longer than I've been alive. If you go to www.cruisercustomizing.com or www.shadetreepowersports.com (where I got mine) they both have a great selection and online fitment guides to insure you're ordering the right thing. (I did a few blog entries about them on the cruisercustomizing.com site as well - if you chose to read them my screen name there is the same as on here) I'd have them professionally spin balanced and mounted to insure safety. Keep the chrome in the air and the rubber on the road Bro.|||My personal preference is to pay the extra bucks and go with a top rated tire. Tires are the most important parts on your motorcycle as 'they keep you stuck to the road', (sort-a-speak)
Check consumer reports, but that Dunlap is an okay tire but there are better.|||I run the Shinko tires on my sport bike and I'd say there just as good as Dunlop tire's at a fraction on the cost.

Is an AC adapter included with a brand new in-the-box Dunlop crybaby original wah pedal?
Please be truthful, and I'm thinking of buying one. But, I'm not sure if it includes an AC adapter. One website doesn't say if it's included (it's more expensive by a bit) and the other says it's not included, but cheaper. (I could also buy one separately but it would become more expensive than the first website.)|||I don't think so. But then again I never used an adapter. Just kept a fresh battery on hand. And if I was doing a show, I always put in a new one before the show.
Is The Dunlop X FIRE COMP Ti 98 Tennis Racket Any Good?

Where can i go to fix a Dunlop Cry baby pedal?
It dosent turn on. How much will it cost?|||The basic circuit is fairly straightfoward and hasn't changed much in the past 40 years or so. Any music store that services electronics should be able to repair it at close to their minimum charge + parts. Look first for loose jacks, a switch that no longer "clicks" and wires that have broken loose - especially at the battery connector. Perhaps you have a friend who knows some electronics who can assist you.
The schematics (and mods !!!) can be found in the links below. It can't hurt to print them out to bring with you if you take it somewhere.

How do I make a weeping demon wah pedal sound like a dunlop crybaby?

How do you work a dunlop gcb 95 cry baby?
i got this gcb 95 the other day and i cant seem to get it to work. the amp i am currently using is just this small practice amp that came with the guitar. when i turn on distortion i can hear the wah, but only faintly. otherwise it doesnt make a noise with the clean tone. any suggestions?|||first off make sure the wah has the proper amount of power it needs. a working 9v battery or 9v DC adapter is required. The battery is accessed by removing the rubber feet with the screws on the bottom of the pedal. This should allow you to remove the thin metal plate. Once you know you have proper voltage, make sure you are engaging the pedal correctly. The pedal is switched on and off by pressing quite hard with your toe towards the top of the pedal. If you look at the pedal from the side you will see the switch. If you are still having problems after these steps, there may be something wrong with your wah.
Should I get a normal Dunlop CryBaby or CryBaby Bass pedal?
I play both bass and guitar. I was just wondering if a normal guitar Crybaby would sound good on bass or if I should spend double the amount and not have a pedal for guitar. My main instrument is bass, but not only am I cheap, but I really like to play guitar in my spare time.|||Hi--There is a reason why Dunlop makes a guitar CryBaby and a separate bass CryBaby: frequencies.
A wah pedal minipulates the high and low frequencies of sound. The guitar puts out higher frequencies than a bass guitar, and, therefore, the guitar specific CryBaby was not created to handle a bass's low-end frequencies. Many bass players wanted to include a wah-wah pedal in their rig, so Dunlop created a wah specifically designed to handle the low-end frequencies.
Just as the guitar CryBaby isn't made to handle the low frequencies of the bass, the bass CryBaby isn't set up to handle the higher frequencies of the guitar.
You aren't going to get the famous CryBaby wah sound if you play a guitar through the bass wah; and, quite frankly, if you play a bass guitar through an original CryBaby wah you wouldn't be doing your sound any favors (nor the pedal).
Jim Dunlop spent years creating and tweaking the CryBaby (guitar) wah so the GUITAR frequencies would get the best response possible when minipulated; same for the bass. So I highly recommend you use the bass wah for the bass frequencies, and the guitar wah for the guitar's frequencies.
Having said that, since you stated that you are cheap*, I would suggest that if you INSIST on buying ONE pedal...buy the bass pedal. The bass is your main axe and your bass will sound incredible; your guitar will sound like mud, but it will sound better than a bass through a guitar wah (personally, I wouldn't play my guitar through the bass wah, but you should buy the pedal made for the axe you use the most).
** I don't think you are cheap: I feel your pain when it comes to the high price of great sounding effects pedals. It would be much better if you buy the bass CryBaby and go without a guitar wah for awhile, rather than buy two lower priced crappy wahs. It's better to have one great pedal than two pedals with horrible tone.
You can find a used CryBaby guitar wah on eBay for a reasonable price. Maybe buy the bass wah and then save up for a month or two and buy a used CryBaby--they are built like a tank, so you'd have a great chance of buying a great used pedal. Of course, when buying on eBay, make sure you buy from a reputable dealer--check their feedback--and make sure there is a reasonable return policy.

Will eating less make me lose my dunlop?
Or could i eat healthy still and excersize like all weekend roller blading and after school roller blading? A dunlop is a slight belly btw. Nothing major though im skinny.|||Eat healthy and do your exercise and stick to it = then Yes|||Yes, of course.
But this is a very old and dangerous way of loosing spare tire. I am advance nutrition student and been practically do what I've learn. Before this, my friends call me shrek. Now, they call me juggernaut (is that the spelling?)
My advise :
Training can make your dunlop lose even fast. DO aerobic training such as jogging, swimming, cycling and even walking. Aerobic training utilize fats in other words, fats are source of energy when doing aerobic training.
Monitor your meals. Avoids food with high fat such as nut. You can check the list of food containg fats in the net.

Dunlop Original Cry Baby Wah Pedal Is Not Working Can Any One Help?
i got a orginal dunlop cry baby wah pedal and it isnt working, the first one i got a couple days ago didnt work so i took it back for an exchange at guitar center and when i got home with my new wah pedal it didnt work again so does any know whats happening? and yes i am going up and down with my foot on the pedal!|||I agree with byrde, Are you sure you installed the battery or have a power adapter for it. and turned on the switch ? If it still does not work maybe the hookup is wrong.|||1st,
They don't come with the battery installed,
you have to open the pedal up, and hook up the battery.
2nd,
there is an on/off switch, under the pedal board,
you have to push very hard down on the "toe" of the pedal, to activate the switch,
they make it hard to activate the switch, so you don't "accidentally" hit it, while you are using the pedal.
3rd,
make sure that you have hooked it up properly,
the in/outs cables, HAVE to be hooked up on the correct side.
If it's not that,
take the pedal back, and have the store check it, in FRONT of you.

Can I JUST use Dunlop 65 lemon oil for fretboard?
I just bought some Dunlop 65 Lemon oil is it ook just to use that on the fretboard? I noticed that when i was going to buy the dunlop 01 and 02 i said wait a minute lemon oil is a cleaner and conditioner so i ordered it instead, plz answer need answer.|||Make sure it isnt a maple fretboard. But you can use lemon oil on a rosewood fretboard.
You can easily tell them apart. Maple is white, and rosewood is brown.
Your guitar will most likely have a fretboard made from one of these two woods.
Maple is the only one which cannot be used with lemon oil.|||You can use lemon oil on the fretboard. Mask the frets and you should be fine. Side benefit is playing it makes your fingers smell fresh.

Dunlop original crybaby pedal vs slash pedal vs dimebag pedal?
I am a very experienced guitar player and I recently bought the Dunlop original crybaby pedal. I am very happy with it but I recently discovered the slash and dimebag pedal. Do you think it is worth it to upgrade to either of these (which one and why). |||The three are quite similar, though there are a few things that the artists decided to tweak to make it exactly the way they had their own pedals. Personally Slash's pedal is my favorite for it is the perfect wah sound for me, but you should try them out if you get the chance, if you're experienced enough you'll notice the differnece and notice the one you feel most comfortable with.|||In my opinion there is very little difference between them. You are paying for the name of the artist. They gained their reputations as players while using the original crybaby. Stick with the original. |||Dimebag, have u heard cementary gates
Is the Behringer Hellbabe really just as good as a Dunlop Crybaby?
