How do you work a dunlop gcb 95 cry baby?

i got this gcb 95 the other day and i cant seem to get it to work. the amp i am currently using is just this small practice amp that came with the guitar. when i turn on distortion i can hear the wah, but only faintly. otherwise it doesnt make a noise with the clean tone. any suggestions?|||first off make sure the wah has the proper amount of power it needs. a working 9v battery or 9v DC adapter is required. The battery is accessed by removing the rubber feet with the screws on the bottom of the pedal. This should allow you to remove the thin metal plate. Once you know you have proper voltage, make sure you are engaging the pedal correctly. The pedal is switched on and off by pressing quite hard with your toe towards the top of the pedal. If you look at the pedal from the side you will see the switch. If you are still having problems after these steps, there may be something wrong with your wah.
