Is there a difference between dunlop %26amp; taylor made golf clubs?
Or is it all about skill?|||Yes....talent overrides equipment, but equipment certainly helps. If Tiger were to leave Nike, he'd have a very small adjustment window to adjust to another company's stuff and he'd go back to being Tiger quickly! But even the "crappy" stuff now is eons ahaead of where the great stuff was 30 or 40 years ago.
As far as your other question, there's something to be said with lower level golfers seeing more benefits from a more branded equipment manufacturer. You do get what you pay for to some degree.|||No, there isn't. The real difference between the "big boys" like Nike and Taylormade and the "little guys" like Dunlop and Golfsmith is A) the money they spend on sponsorships; B) the money spent on Research and Development; and C) advertising.
To be sure, there are companies out there that make "junk"- drivers made of aluminum, irons made of zinc... stuff like that. Reputable companies, regardless of who they are, make their stuff with 100% or 6-4 titanium; 1020, 1025, or 8620 (among others- these are the most popular) carbon steel; 304, 431 or 17-4 stainless steel. "Maraging steel" is another material used by reputable brands.|||As long as the clubs are in regulation, I think Tiger could still win a tournament. Crappy is as crappy does.|||Yes he would. It was his inability to drive a car that cost him legendary status.|||Its all about skill babe|||all skill. depends on which clubs are in better shape. but go with taylormade.|||he could use a cane and win
